Content Services
A quarter of a trillion dollars is spent globally every year on content in the video entertainment industry. OTT players, streaming companies, broadcast networks and others produce, acquire and fund content across geographical boundaries in partnership with studios, production companies and the overall content supply-chain.
Of the $250 Billion that is spent on video entertainment content annually, about a quarter is spent from the cumulative budgets of 3 major groups - Disney Group, WarnerMedia+Discovery and Netflix.
“Follow-the-Money”
At Vitrina AI, we wanted to follow this money trail and that was the key goal in designing and creating ‘Vitrina Deals Intel’, an AI-powered system that tracks and analyses such transactions. These AI algorithms, developed by a team of data scientists and technologists, were trained by media industry experts over the last two years. Our key goal was to track deal activity across continents, spot global and regional trends, trace the upward and downward deal-flow movements, and find patterns in the worldwide spendings on video content.
What does Vitrina Deals Intelligence™ track?
Vitrina’s focus has been to capture the money flowing into the Video Entertainment industry from the B2C platforms (e.g. OTT, Streaming, Broadcasting, etc) and reaching the B2B companies (e.g. Production, Distribution, Sales Agencies). As depicted in the diagram, there are an estimated 100,000 B2C platforms and content investor-buyers that fund the worldwide video entertainment industry of 500,000 studios, production companies and distributors. Vitrina Deals Intel™ captures thousands and thousands of deals globally to track funding inflows into the video sector.
Of the $250 Billion that is spent on video entertainment content annually, about a quarter is spent from the cumulative budgets of 3 major groups - Disney Group, WarnerMedia+Discover and Netflix.
How is worldwide deals data captured and analyzed?
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms, that power our Deals Intel system, have been tested and trained over the last two years, since Vitrina’s inception and incubation at SRI International (estd. Stanford Research Institute) campus in Menlo Park, California. Vitrina’s Deals Intel system hunts and tracks down deal activity and deal announcements across industry systems and databases across markets to carefully piece together the jigsaw puzzle of deals, buyers, sellers and content titles. The system is real-time and global - giving daily deal alerts and updates for 100 countries - from the United States to Brazil, from Germany to Japan and from India to Australia.
